Join us every other Wednesday of the month for our general body meetings at 6PM! We hope to make a space on campus to discuss environmental justice topics as well as building a community that empowers one another. Our current plans for the quarter (Winter 20) consist of an EJ book club, climate anxiety discussions, and toxic tours in Oxnard and Bakersfield. We are also working on the finalization of our recommendations to the UCOP Sustainable Practices Policy. We will be sending a delegation to UC Berkeley’s Student of Color Environmental Conference (SoCEC) on April 11th, 2020, as well as hosting our own here at UCSB. Please look out for sign ups for our events and trips, as well as any changes in our meeting times.
